We’ve refreshed our look

2023 is a big year for Barts Charity – it’s the 900th anniversary of St Bartholomew’s Hospital, and we’re focusing our work on enabling life-changing improvements to health for the people of East London. To help with this, we’ve updated our brand.

Updating our brand

You might have noticed that we look a bit different. We’ve launched our new website with a fresh new look and feel to Barts Charity. We hope you like it.

Last year we launched a new five-year strategy, focusing our work on enabling life-changing improvements to health for the people of East London. We’ve also recently launched our biggest fundraising campaign to date to mark the 900th anniversary of St Bartholomew’s Hospital.

In order to help achieve these ambitious goals, Barts Charity needed to feel more relevant to the communities we are here to support.

A collaborative process

In collaboration with Barts Health NHS Trust staff, patients from across St Bartholomew’s, Royal London, Whipps Cross, Newham University and Mile End hospitals, charity supporters and the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the Queen Mary University of London, we refreshed our look to be more reflective of East London’s vibrancy and diversity.

As one of the UK’s most diverse areas, East London has unique healthcare challenges and is an important place to break new ground in health research and innovations in patient care.

We invest in inspiring people, healthcare projects and ground-breaking research, driven by one uniting goal: to transform the health of our East London community.

Together with our supporters and partners, we drive forward the healthcare improvements and research discoveries that are shaping a better, fairer future for East London.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to help with this.
