New rooftop garden for children at The Royal London Hospital
A specially designed rooftop space named "Dilly's Den," built in memory of and inspired by Dillan Ramsey-Aksehir, officially opened at The Royal London Hospital.
We enable high-quality healthcare by empowering staff with big ideas to make improvements to our hospitals that directly benefit patients in their care.
Our Everyday Impact scheme plays a big role in that. It funds practical, easy to implement changes that significantly improve the care, experience and wellbeing of all who come through the doors of our five hospitals.
From sleeper chairs so people visiting loved ones in end-of-life care can be there when they need to be, to safe spaces for children with learning disabilities, and phone charging points for people waiting in A&E so they can stay connected.
By funding in this area, we are working in partnership with Barts Health NHS Trust: to create better hospital environments and provide compassionate, personalised care.
