Barts Health NHS Trust comprises five hospitals – The Royal London Hospital, St Bartholomew’s Hospital, Mile End Hospital, Newham University Hospital and Whipps Cross University Hospital.

Whipps Cross Hospital
Whipps Cross is a large general hospital providing a full range of inpatient and outpatient services, as well as maternity services and a 24 hour A&E.
Newham University Hospital
A busy district hospital providing a full range of services to local communities, including maternity and children’s services at the Rainbow Centre, which was completed transformed by a £6.8m grant from us.
The Royal London Hospital
The Royal London is a major teaching hospital with state-of-the-art facilities. It includes one of the largest children’s hospitals in the UK and is home to a nationally recognised trauma centre.
St Bartholomew’s Hospital
St Bartholomew’s Hosital is the UK’s oldest hospital, dating back nearly 900 years. It is a national centre of excellence for cancer care and is home to the world-leading Barts Heart Centre.
Mile End Hospital
Mile End Hospital is home to a range of out-patient services, from physiotherapy to rheumatology. The hospital was recently selected as the home for a £5m cancer centre to provide speedier diagnosis for patients in north east London.
