Host a Barts Bake

Hosting a coffee morning or bake sale couldn’t be easier. All you need to do is get your friends and family together and get baking.

We will send you everything you need to make your event a fundraising success – everything but the cakes! Your event can be as big or as small as you want. 

For example, you could buy some cakes and give them to colleagues at work in exchange for a donation – it’s that simple.

You can hold your event whenever suits you, a summer soirée, or a back to school bake. Whenever you choose gather everyone together and raise a brew or two! 

As soon as you sign up you will receive a link to create and download your fundraising materials. All you need to do is complete the form and select the type of event you are having. We’ll do the rest, creating posters, bunting and more, all tailored to your event. Our fundraising packs are powered by our partners at Fundraizing Hero – if you need any help using this platform let us know.

Your page will be linked to our account with all your fundraising coming directly to the charity.

Raffles are a great way to raise extra cash at an event, however, there are certain rules that need to be followed to make it legal. For more information, take a look at the Gambling Commission website. 

Absolutely – don’t forget to take lots of photos so we can see the amazing bakes that you create. You could even host a ‘bake off’ style competition and award a prize for the best bake or most creative cake.

For all home bakes, don’t forget to display the ingredients of your bake so people are aware of any allergens.  

Not a natural baker or short on time? No worries, there is no shame in shop bought treats!

Fundraising Inspiration

If you set up a JustGiving page for your fundraising, this money will come to us directly so you don’t need to do anything. Got cash? You can pay this money in to your own bank account and then make a payment to us via our online payment page. Just use the reference Barts Bake in the notes so we know this is what the donation if for.
