Our East London community faces some of the worst breast cancer survival rates in the country. We’re here to change that through the new Barts Health Breast Cancer Centre. We’re fundraising for this ambitious new centre and we need your support.
A donation to Barts Charity could help us be here for every step of someone’s breast cancer journey – from diagnosis through to recovery. And it can also drive research that could change lives globally.
Despite progress in breast cancer outcomes, people in East London and their families face some of the worst breast cancer survival rates in the country. Many are diagnosed younger, at a later stage of disease and with more aggressive cancers.
People also face significant health inequalities. High levels of deprivation, barriers to accessing healthcare and lower screening uptake all contribute to poorer breast cancer outcomes.
That’s why we’re here to improve breast cancer outcomes through the Breast Cancer Centre.
