A new staff recognition programme for Barts Health
With a grant of £850,000, we are continuing our commitment to supporting Barts Health NHS staff by funding a new staff recognition programme
At Barts Charity, we’re proud to stand behind the incredible NHS staff who care for our communities every day. With the help of our supporters, we fund initiatives that promote wellbeing, boost morale, and support professional development across five hospitals in East London: St Bartholomew’s Hospital, The Royal London Hospital, Mile End Hospital, Whipps Cross Hospital, and Newham Hospital.
From funding dedicated psychologists at each site to help staff manage stress and trauma, to launching Barts Hearts, a recognition programme that has shared over 85,000 messages of appreciation, we’re making sure NHS staff feel valued and supported. Your donations also support leadership development and training opportunities, helping healthcare professionals grow and thrive in their roles. By supporting the people who care for us, your donations help create a stronger, more resilient NHS—ready to deliver world-class care to everyone who needs it.
