Members of The Royal Epping Forest Golf Club held a golf day in memory of Anne, the wife of one of the members, raising £500 for our Gynaecology Oncology Research fund.

Led by Murray, the team played a full 18 holes and organised the event as a way to both honour Anne’s life and to say thank you for the treatment she received at St Bartholomew’s.

The Seniors Section of the club hold a charity day each year, where members pay to take part, have a buffet lunch and some drinks, and support a local charity.

This year they chose us as a way to help future patients with gynaecological cancer, in memory of Anne.

We’d like to say a big thank you to Murray and everyone involved for choosing to remember Anne in this way, and for helping to make a difference to patients at St Bartholomew’s.
