Serving up a treat: Honest Burgers team show their support
27 Jun 2016
We’d like to say a big thank you to the customers and staff of Honest Burgers, Bank, for supporting us as part of their “Honesty Box Day”.
The team chose us as one of five charities listed on their chalkboard – for customers to then vote for their favourite when they visited.
On their traditional Honesty Box Day – last Monday – anyone eating at Honest Burgers paid whatever they thought their meal was worth, and 100% of what was raised was split between the three charities with the most votes – giving us £164.12 to help fund projects for patients in the hospitals we support.
Karen, manager at Honest Burgers, said: “Doors opened at our new Bank branch last month. As is tradition we celebrated by holding an Honesty Box Day – a simple idea and a great way to give something back to a range of charities.
“Barts Charity’s work benefits our local area so that’s why we chose them as one of the nominees.”
Support from those in our community is invaluable, so from all of us:
Thank you to everyone who paid a visit and voted for us on the day, and thank you too to Karen, Martha and the whole Honest Burgers team for choosing us!
