Career Moves cap 2016 with over £2,000 in charity of the year partnership

13 Jan 2017

We’d like to say a huge thank you to all the staff at Career Moves, who raised a fantastic £2,260 during 2016 to help patients in the hospitals we support and our local community.

As their charity of the year, they fundraised for us with a whole host of activities from sweepstakes and bake sales to running the Hackney Half Marathon and the Santa Run.

The latter part of 2016 saw the team visiting The Royal London to decorate the wards, as well as making Cards for Bravery to give to patients.

Sarah Savage nominated us as their chosen charity and said: “It’s been a wonderful experience supporting Barts Charity.

“As a company, we’ve really enjoyed working together thinking of creative fundraising ideas and have worked hard to raise money with bake offs, world food days, half marathons, 5k and 10ks.

“We have been incredibly proud supporting a local charity to our business and more importantly our NHS!”

We’re hugely grateful to the whole team, as well as all their friends, family and clients who helped to raise the funds – thank you!

Support from local businesses is so important to help us reach more patients. If you’re interested in a charity of the year partnership, get in touch with Simon or have a look at our local businesses page:
