Giving in your will

Giving in your will is a truly special way to make a lasting difference, helping patients, families, hospital staff and our community.

Staff in the hospitals we support are able to achieve amazing things thanks to the legacies of generous people from our local community and further afield - those who may have had personal experience of the hospitals, or who want to support our future work and the patients we help.

What your gift means

Legacies large and small help to achieve wonderful things for the hospitals and patients we support. Cutting-edge research to develop new and improved treatments, equipment to transform patient care, and community projects to help everyone access extraordinary healthcare.

How to leave a legacy

A solicitor can help you to write a will, or, if you have already got a will, a short supplemental document called a codicil. After you have provided for your loved ones we hope you will consider a gift to our charity. Your legacy will be used wherever it’s most needed within the hospitals we support, or you can choose to support a specific area of medicine or particular ward/hospital.

Your solicitor will need information about our charity such as name, registered address and Charity Commission registration number.

Get in touch

Our legally trained adviser, Fiona, is on hand to speak to you or your solicitor, should you have any queries.
